Fully serviced accommodation and land available
NETPark has been developed as the North East's premier science, engineering and technology park for the commercialisation of cutting edge R&D from major international organisations, universities and entrepreneurs.
Phase 1 consists of 33 acres of fully serviced land with broadband connectivity (capacity of 620 Mbps). Half of this land is already developed or committed to the NETPark Incubator (Phases 1 & 2), the NETPark Research Institute, PETeC and the Innovation Village.
With outline planning permission for B1 use (office and high-tech) there are plots available in a variety of sizes for self-build (.42 Ha - 1.62 Ha). Development land at NETPark is very competitively priced and, from 2008, the freehold on developed plots can be purchased by the occupants. The preferred developer for Phase 1 is Helios City.
Another 3 hectares (known as "The Gables") to the north of Phase 1 is in the process of being serviced with infrastructure, access and broadband.
